Description

The FID combines with the Photoionization Detector (PID) for simultaneous, dual detection of saturated and unsaturated hydrocarbons. Occupying only one detector port with its unique design, the FID does not use any transfer lines, improving chromatographic performance by minimizing dead volume. Achieve excellent resolution, high sensitivity, and the widest range of specific compound detection capabilities with the FID.

  • Attaches to the PID exhaust port, forming a dual-detector set occupying only one GC detector port without using transfer lines or nonstandard fittings
  • Operates simultaneously with the PID or operates independently
